Going Green!

Gill Hurst has recently joined Grange Physiotherapy and has been practising since 1995 having qualified from Manchester University. From there she spent two years as a Physiotherapist in the London teaching hospitals experiencing a wide range of medical conditions and began specialising in musculoskeletal medicine.

Gill went on to Australia to work in Melbourne and the Central Coast working as the manager of a private clinic for neck and back pain. Following this she worked as Physiotherapist in the New Zealand ski fields for the winter season of 2002. Here Gill was able to develop first class experience in acute skiing and snowboarding injuries at the highest level during world-class championships.

On returning to the UK Gill worked in private clinics in Harley Street, London before moving to Oxford to set up a Clinic within the health and fitness sector. Here she was involved in the teaching of students and junior therapists in the Oxford Radcliffe NHS trust.

Gill is qualified in Acupuncture for pain relief in sports and spinal problems. She has also spent time in Colorado completing an advanced qualification as a yoga instructor.

Gill is committed to continually updating knowledge and skills in line with the latest scientific research and integrates this into the most effective ways of treating pain and injury through Physiotherapy.
