Since graduation (a dizzying 12 years ago) from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Martin has worked within the Prosthetic/Orthotic department of North Bristol Trust. During this time he has developed significant areas of expertise and has specialised in the following areas:

• Dynamic Gait Analysis
• Lower Limb Bio-mechanics
• Lower Limb Paediatric Orthotics
• Management of the Chronic Diabetic Foot

Many of his clients require Biomechanical Gait Analysis and treatment to assist their return to sport. He continues his Professional Development through regular attendance at post graduate courses.

His interest in developing training and education in Prosthetics and Orthotics has taken him to Mauretania and Mozambique. A keen badminton player and an enthusiastic if “creative” golfer, Martin still manages to find time to pursue his favourite hobby, Photography.

His wife Sue and his recently born first child Emily fill the rest of his spare time.
